Scotty, Will and I spent a Sunday afternoon at Governor's Island, a one-time military facility just a five minute ferry ride from Manhattan and Brooklyn. We've lived in NYC for five years and this is the first time we've been. It's such a beautiful spot. It's now on the To Do list for future family/friend visits (it's open on weekends from May-September.)
